Belated photographs from The Natural History Museum. I miss London. It's raining really badly tonight, so I'm curled up in bed listening to the raindrops hit my window.

She's a waitress and she's got style.

My living room is lacking textures, potted plants and hanging artwork. I'm going to search eBay for an indian throw to add colour to my bare walls. Although my dollar has recently been spent on autumn clothes, deep mahogany shades, delicate blouses, wool tights and black cigarette jeans. Last night I felt incredibly bored, so I spontaneously cut my hair, I'm pleased with it, it represents a change I want to make in myself. Today I've been for tea and toast with my boyfriend and had a little walk, before going to see the final Harry Potter film.

You're going to reap just what you sow.

As August approaches, I'm beginning to feel as though the summer is passing before my eyes. My time has been spent productively, but I'm constantly feeling as though I could be doing more. I need to put pen to paper and ensure I have plans and ideas stored. Music is helping, I'm listening to The Strokes, Lou Reed, Kate Bush and The Rolling Stones. Today I went to my local grocers and bought as much fresh vegetables as I could carry, I'm determined to be healthier.

Below are photographs from this another exploration, I am always photographing the outdoors, I may start photographing more outfits and interiors.

Once we get over the hill, we'll find a library.

I've had a pleasant week, although I may have not done anything too excited, it's now Sunday and I feel content with how my free time has been spent. I've almost forgotten what it feels like to eat at home as I've been in and out of noodle bars, cafĂ©'s and restaurants while venturing various locations, filming the city and beautiful scenery. I made a few purchases, including Oh Comely magazine.

Last night I went to go see Bright Eyes, which was incredible. I'll never get over the feeling of seeing beautiful music being created in front of my eyes. I had a wonderful afternoon too, shopping in town, I found some beautiful clothes in the summer sales. Here's some photographs from the other day, right now I'm going to go see The Tree of Life, Terrence Malick's new film.

Yesterday was spent in the nearby park, experimenting with my Canon 550D, this video is nothing special, quite simple, an afternoon spent outdoors.

The more you know who you are and what you want, the less you let things upset you.

Appointments, wandering around the local second hand stores, exploring forests filled with pastel pink flowers. Tomorrow, I'll be doing the photography for my friend's vintage clothing line opening event. I'll be sure to have a glass of wine in my spare hand at all times.

We'll dance all night and we'll hold each other tight, till the morning light.

I cannot wait to see this band next month, possibly my favourite song of the summer.

Pardon, shadow, hold on tight to your darkened key.

Despite the glum weather, today in the early afternoon and I went to some isolated rural villages, however much I love cities I can't help but adore historical places, although I don't think I could ever live somewhere so withdrawn from the speed of city life. I wore a beige wool cardigan over a black dress incorporating a pattern of miniature daisies.

A meaningless movement, a movie script ending.

I've been busy, enjoying life and live music, Death Cab for Cutie, my favourite band for so long now, in Manchester last night. What a lovely day, strolling around the city in ripped denim shorts and a tie dye tee, finding the most obscure places to eat. I prefer my hometown, which is nearby, but it's always enjoyable to explore other cities. Searching an arcade full of hidden treasures, rails of winter coats and floral dresses, stacks of vinyl's and worn books. My camera refused to turn on seen as I'd carelessly forgotten to charge the batteries. So here are some photograph's taken last week, hiding my face, wearing a loose fitting white dress and holding dying flowers. Recently I've become more interested in nature than in fashion.
