I've been busy, enjoying life and live music, Death Cab for Cutie, my favourite band for so long now, in Manchester last night. What a lovely day, strolling around the city in ripped denim shorts and a tie dye tee, finding the most obscure places to eat. I prefer my hometown, which is nearby, but it's always enjoyable to explore other cities. Searching an arcade full of hidden treasures, rails of winter coats and floral dresses, stacks of vinyl's and worn books. My camera refused to turn on seen as I'd carelessly forgotten to charge the batteries. So here are some photograph's taken last week, hiding my face, wearing a loose fitting white dress and holding dying flowers. Recently I've become more interested in nature than in fashion.

Life is beautiful. Really, it is. Full of beauty and illusions. Life is great. Without it, you'd be dead.
June is almost over and my summer has begun. I have two months ahead of me to photograph, film and document. I'll be outside exploring, travelling, reading in the passenger seat. I've had a wonderful year and I feel proud to have accomplished so much, but I know I have so much more to give. Recently my dreams have become progressively more surreal which I dislike, so I'm trying not to sleep too much. I find that I lose all focus while sat in my garden, cigarette in hand, as my mind drifts off to some other time.
I've bought a lot of books recently, all second hand of course. Chelsea boots, in preparation for colder weather, are also among my recent purchases. Tonight I have one final film review to write, then my summer officially begins. Recent photographs below, full of colour.

But you know that it's good girl, because it's running you with red.
London was as wonderful as ever. Ladurée macaroons, beautiful architecture, carrying around brown paper bags containing lovely new clothes. I have many photographs to sort through. Tired on Sunday, out of the blue I decided to cut my hair, so I put it in a ponytail and cut the ponytail right off, I love it.

I wanted to make a love story without being nerdy.
Today, out of boredom, I made a collage of Sofia Coppola. I'm not pleased with it, but I thought I'd post it anyway.
